The Pirates in Paradise Festival is the place to meet pirates from all over. It is getting to be the main rendezvous for crews of both coasts of the US and even abroad.
Cascabel -------- Dumplin
Black Caesar (aka Spydr)
Deon Simms from the Pirates of Nassau museum
They may be crusty, but they have clean
ears.
(Reddog and Sean Miller)
In addition to crusty salty men, there were many lovely lasses at the festival.
Mistress
Robinson
------- Soleste
This barkeep was able to entice many of
the lasses to his counter.
(l to r: Mistress Robinson, Soleste, and Filthy Fanny)
A bevy of harlots could be found on the prowl of the Historic Seaport docks
Some of the lasses even came with more than one set of eyes.
Filthy Fanny sat atop Spydr's truck during the Holiday Lights Parade.
The Mitty Guppy and crew in the parade too.
Many interesting hats could be found at the festival:
Robin Flanagan of the Crimson Pirates models her new lobster hat.
Spydr got his new woven hat handmade by one of the many street people that can be found in Key West.
Some of the pirates happily pair up with one another:
Roxanne and Captain Red Ned Lynch (aka Mike Noles)
Captain Delilah and Laurens de Graff
(Laurens was the Sept. 2002 cover model for No Quarter Given. You may
have read in the pages of No Quarter Given how these two met as a result).
And some are still lookin' to pair up with someone:
