The merchant booths of the Village Thieves Market and Pirate Fest were incorporated right along the wooden docks of the historic marina where several schooners and other historic vessels tie up , in and around the famed Schooner Wharf bar. The Conch Train brought the tourists right down the same lane where the festival was, so they could see the rollickin’ fun and adventure. The West Coast Mutineers entertained the crowds with wildly innovative brawls and scraps in the fight circle several times per day.

Capt. Luigi is called into the Fight Circle.

Plaid Henry takes him on.

Luigi seems to be caught off balance.

In another battle, Reddog flips Powderkeg Pete.

Pete seems to be slightly discomfitted.

The harlots were put to good use to help gather a crowd (while they gathered tips as well).

She looks as if the tip was rather disappointing.

Then there was a slight disagreement between the lasses.  One of the pirate's women claimed the harlots were "doing business" with their own man.

Ooof!

Grace (center background) enjoys seeing one of the "girls" get a come-uppance.

Then a few more lasses got involved in the argument.  The more the merrier as far as the crowd was concerned.

Quartermaster Bates confronts the two Scottish lads about an agreement they had.
"Nay - not me ... t'was him!"

They came to blows over who was to blame.

"You what?"

Lathias is at the end of his rope.

Quartermaster Bates is caught in the middle between the two Scots.

Cannonball Bill is triumphant and has the whip.

Captain Grace O'Malley (center) has a morning meeting with her crew.
The mast and sail of the "Mitty Guppy" can be seen in the top left.

(That is one of the merchant's booths in the background with salesmistress Sille presiding inside -- you can see a display of the Buccaneer Buttons from No Quarter Given on the right)
(Thomas Allen volunteered to take this photo with my camera as he was in his vantage point you see two pictures below)

Pirates are shopping in the Thieves Market.

Patches surveys the Thieve's Market from atop the restraining device for those who got too rowdy.
