What is it with pyrates and cigars?
(Braze and Deon Simms share a smoke together).
An actor portraying "Matt Lowe" gave a performance from a play by
Sandra Riley during the "Authors, Artists & Historians Sail"
aboard the Schooner Wolf.
Jamie McCollum and Dumplin gave rapt attention to the performance.
Some scurvy rogues aboard the Compass Rose think they can get away with
harassing those of us aboard the Schooner Wolf.
They quickly learn the errors of their ways..
Our good captain Finbar does not take such challenges lightly.
The Compass Rose runs for it.
No wonder, once they saw this vessel bearing down on them.
Jus' lookit all those guns!
This is the PT 728 (duh -- as if you couldn't find out for yourself by looking
at those numbers painted boldly on its bow). It's the last true PT boat
still in action. But notice -- even they have pirates aboard (that's
Robert and Soleste there in the middle).
Beat to Quarters!
(That's Mark Miller on the drum).
As darkness closed in, and we headed back to harbor, we had a special
entertainment. These fireworks were created when Cascabel fired steelwool
outta his flintlock. It was quite an impressive show.
