No Quarter Given travels to the East Coast

During the summer of 1998, we took a month long voyage to visit the pirate crews, nautical folk, maritime ports and tall ships from Massachusetts to North Carolina.

The art show featured several panels of Don Maitz's pirate art, including the "Forty Thieves" painting (click on the small picture under Don's portrait to see this wonderful painting).

Not that you can see it here in this portrait, but the brocade on this couple's clothing had a skull and crossbones design worked into it!! They are fabric merchants, and were selling this fabric in the Dealers Room.
