Sooooooooooo TA DA!!!!!! Did it!! And I love it!!! You can see my trailer hitch cover also!!!!!! And the rest is history!!!!!!!"

We marched with the Buccaneers of Tortuga in the Swallows Day Parade on March 21, 2009. Piratess Bijoux had parked her car at the end of the parade route filled with drinks for a tired crew o' pirates. We knew which car to go to.

"A few years ago I had an opportunity to buy my first new
car, I knew right away what I wanted, (after all I have wanted one for 40
years). I also knew right away what my license plate was going to be.
"Here is picture of my Mini Pirate, complete with the license plate "MNI
PR8", a Pirate's of the Caribbean antenna ball and a sticker of
Pirates Winnie the Pooh and Piglet (a sticker I designed myself). My Mini
Pirate's home port is Pirate's Cove, in Corona (known to everyone in our area as "The
Pirate House").

In response to your request for personalized or piratical
plates, here is a shot of the good ship "Manticore". La, the
compliments she earns me! Children and adults gather 'round her to view
her plates, palm tree and skull license frame, the decals adorning her
dashboard, the mini ship's wheel ion the rear compartment, the carved bone
rosary (skulls!) on her rear view and of course, the pirate skeleton in the
passenger seat. Me only regret is not having a working cannon on board
with which to deal with the daft drivers about!

Me horseless carriage is licensed by the colony of Rogues Island with the plate 'Pyrate' held in place by a chrome skull & bones frame. We derive great pleasure heading to an event in full costume from fellow travelers following behind then passing and giving a close look after noticing the plate and seeing the vehicle driven by pirates. The car is an Eclipse Spyder convertible so passersby can really get a good look at us!!!!!!!

MORE PLATES FOUND ON THE CYBER SEAS
The East Carolina University students are known as the Pirates. So lots of piratical license plates found amongst their student body and alumni in the Carolinas and Virginia. I imagine there are some Tampa Bay football fans with Florida buccaneer plates, and Pittsburgh baseball fans with pirate plates too.
